Michael Garbutt PhD, Nico Roenpagel PhD, and Frank Feltens PhD, authors of Smithsonian’s Books newly published Mindful Eye, Playful Eye: 101 Amazing Museum Activities for Discovery, Connection and Insight present a practice-based workshop to introduce you to innovative and engaging, mindfully playful and playfully mindful ways of engaging with art and artifacts.  Designed for any museum, gallery or zoo, you will learn how to explore art and artifacts through embodied and mindfulness-based strategies, engage with art and artefacts in playful ways that activate uniquely personal perspectives and meanings, and connect with your peers through experimental, playful ways.
