Bayley McKeon is an Ocean Education Specialist at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History responsible for ocean-related programming around the museum. Programming can be seen daily in the Sant Ocean Hall through a variety of mediums like cart explorations, Tank Talks, as well as programs hosted in Science on a Sphere and Explorer Theater spaces. Bayley is also involved with the support of ocean-focused School and Family Programs as well as training and supporting volunteers in the Sant Ocean Hall. Before joining the museum in 2022, she was an educator and aquarist at a variety of aquariums in Rhode Island, Florida, and North Carolina. Bayley received her bachelor's degree in marine science and biology with a minor in education from the University of Tampa.
