Description

Join museum educators from the National Museum of American History and the Rockwell Museum, along with teen members of the Youth Leadership Team, as they explore strategies for engaging in civic discourse on complex topics. This session will highlight the importance of forging strong relationships between students, schools, and cultural institutions to create impactful educational experiences. Participants will also learn how to effectively integrate the National Youth Summit into their classrooms, using it as a tool to foster critical thinking and active citizenship among teens. Find inspiration and confidence to tackle complex topics with teens in the classroom through meaningful dialogue and museum-based learning approaches.
