Description
Attend this session to be introduced to new avenues to expand background knowledge, access world-class digital resources, and incorporate high-quality literature to expand the role of nonfiction in your classroom. Students love nonfiction when they’re attached to high interest areas. In this session, we will explore how to do this and create an ever-growing collection of topics and resources from across over 250 years of American history. The session will include resources available from Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.
