Johanna R. Gorelick is the Assistant Director for Education at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, where she has worked since 1990. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Vassar College and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She has taught undergraduate courses in anthropology at Lehman College, City University of New York, and Fordham University and served as an instructor at the Gallatin School, New York University.
