Lily Hsu-McCausland is a Lead Facilitator in Spark!Lab at the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. She encourages visitors to explore their inventive identity through facilitation in order to solve problems presented in Spark!Lab and out in the real world. She currently oversees the monthly newsletter that is distributed to all the volunteers and does a little bit of activity development on the side. Lily has a BFA from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Visual Arts (Print Media) and a minor in Art History and Museum Studies. Before coming to the Smithsonian, she worked as a student advisory board intern with CampusWorks and a studio figure model at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Outside of work, Lily likes digitizing VHS tapes she finds at thrift stores.
