Anna Nielsen is the Program Coordinator at the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM), Lunder Conservation Center. In this role she coordinates visits to the Lunder Conservation Center’s onsite labs, organizes virtual and in-person programming, workshops, symposia, and resources for the center for those interested in Art Conservation. She has held roles at the Smithsonian with the National Museum of the American Indian in early childhood education and served as a volunteer at the National Museum of American History. Anna holds a BA in Art History from the University of Maryland. Anna is passionate about combining art and science to create tactile, memorable and accessible learning opportunities.
