Brigitte is the Education Specialist for K-12 programs at the National Museum of Asian Art.  Prior to coming to NMAA, Brigitte worked as a gallery teacher at the National Gallery of Art’s Art Around the Corner program, a Project Zero based multiple visit program with the DC Public Schools.  Brigitte has over 25 years of experience working in both museums and classrooms with students from Pre-K to high school. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Florida and an MAT in Museum Education from George Washington University.  In addition to her work in museums, Brigitte is a certified yoga teacher for adults and children and loves to bring movement and mindfulness into the museum and the classroom.
