Chris has been teaching social studies and technology for over a decade, and served as the education manager at The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village before coming to University Liggett School. He is the lead teacher of ULS's place-based United States history program. He has been recognized as a Daughters of the American Revolution Outstanding Teacher of American History (2019), a first-place winner of the Innovation Nation Teacher Innovator Awards (2021), and the Teacher of the Year from the Historical Society of Michigan (2025).
