Speaker Bio
Stephany Fry is a former teacher who brings her classroom and out of school time experience to the Lemelson Center for Invention and Innovation in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. In her current role as production coordinator, she imbues programs with an education foundation and creative energy to engage members of the community in innovative and inventive ways. She has led major art installations including Sukkah City x DC and Good Fortunes as well as designed education spaces such as the Capital Jewish Museum’s Community Action Lab. As an educator Stephany has presented at the DC History Conference with Humanities DC, led teacher workshops for museums across the city and serves on the AmeriCorps Alums DC Board.
