Manuelito Biag, Ph.D. currently serves as the Managing Director of Education at the Courage Museum, an initiative of Futures Without Violence dedicated to helping young people and communities understand and prevent violence. He leads the design of immersive learning experiences that cultivate empathy, civic courage, and collective action. His work integrates storytelling, design thinking, and improvement science to help educators and youth translate empathy into meaningful change. Previously, Dr. Biag worked on national education initiatives focused on continuous improvement in schools and institutions of higher education. He has held leadership positions at the National Center for School-University Partnerships, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and Stanford University’s John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities.
