Jorge Pérez Ratcliffe, BA in Humanities (2010), is a Puerto Rican artist and museum educator who has served as the Program Coordinator for the General Motors Learning Lounge at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino since 2024. When visiting the Molina Family Latino Gallery and the GM Learning Lounge, you may find him facilitating different educational programs that help explore the traditions, the history, and the communities of Latinos in the US. Before joining the Smithsonian, he worked in the NYC healthcare sector, particularly as a recreation coordinator for non-profit organizations. Jorge has a background in Humanities – Fine Arts. He earned his BA from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. While in college, he was a member of different groups, such as the Choir of the University of Puerto Rico (Vice-President), the National Choir of Puerto Rico, and the University of Puerto Rico Jazz Ensemble.
