Sheeba Rashada serves as Lead Education Specialist for the Democracy in Dialogue Virtual Exchange, a program of the Office of the Undersecretary for Education at the Smithsonian Institution. With a distinguished fifteen-year career in public education, Sheeba brings extensive experience as a high school English teacher, instructional coach, and student affairs administrator. Her previous roles in the Clark County School District in Nevada and the District of Columbia Public Schools consistently focused on building educator capacity, driving student achievement, and advancing educational equity, particularly for historically underserved students, families, and communities. She holds a B.A. in English, an MLIS, and an M.Ed. in Education Administration, and is currently a doctoral student at the University of Virginia for Education Administration and Supervision.
