Maggie Lisman is the Stories 4-History Program Manager for the Office of the Undersecretary for Education at the Smithsonian Institution. As part of her role, she develops curriculum and resources for 4-H youth and leaders across the United States.
Prior to joining the Office of the Undersecretary for Education, Maggie led the Stories 4-History program under the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service, Museum on Main Street. She previously worked as Manager of Family, Camp, and School Programs at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum for 7 years. At Cooper Hewitt, she designed, implemented, and evaluated PK-12 programs and resources, including field trips, intergenerational workshops, camps, community partnerships, and digital content.
Maggie earned a B.A. in History from the University of Vermont and M.S. Ed in Museum Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
