Clare Hulfish is a museum educator dedicated to intergenerational learning, inclusive storytelling, and place-based engagement. She currently serves as the Education & Programs Manager at the Irving Archives and Museum in Texas, where she develops exhibitions, community programs and field trips that connect local histories to broader national conversations. Her work centers on creating meaningful, accessible experiences that explore identity, impact, and the complexities of the past through hands-on and inquiry-driven learning. Clare was a featured speaker at the 2022 Smithsonian Affiliations Virtual Conference and is part of the team recognized with a 2023 AASLH Leadership in History Award for the exhibition A Local Green Book. Her work offers pathways for audiences to engage with the past in ways that illuminate the present—and invites them to see themselves as part of the story that’s still unfolding.
