Geoffrey Cohrs is a public historian with 20 years of experience who seeks to make museums welcoming spaces that bring our shared histories and cultures alive in dynamic ways. As part of SAAM’s teaching and learning team, he manages docent programs. These programs incorporate inquiry-based pedagogy and metacognitive strategies to engage visitors in American art, history, and culture.
