Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°) provides educators and students with critically needed perspectives on Native American history and cultures. American Indians have profoundly shaped American history, yet what is taught in our school systems is often incomplete or false. NK360° provides Native narratives, more comprehensive histories, and accurate information to enlighten and inform teaching and learning about Native America. Educators will receive our newest teaching poster about the American Revolution and learn about teacher training opportunities that address and acknowledge historic and contemporary Native American contributions. ImagiNATIONS Activity Center staff will share interdisciplinary strategies that prepare educators to teach the semi-quincentennial.
